Portishead's Dummy (33 1 3) RJ Wheaton

Wheaton is another compelling read about the seminal album from the British band Portishead. Dragonfly is only 99 cents June 6-8! That whole album is simply a masterpiece of the first degree. Portishead, along with Nightmares On Wax, are the two bands which make me want to experiment with . The song embedded below has to be one of my most favourite songs of all time. Continuum Books have announced the albums that will get the book treatment in 2010/2011 as part of their stellar 33 1/3 series. The 2nd album I'm still getting used to, frankly. I'm going to get a new Portishead album if it comes out regardless, but my biggest fear is that there will never be another one like 'Dummy'.
